During a Sunday prayer session for individuals dealing with health challenges, the founder of Koinonia Church, Apostle Joshua Selman, made a startling prophetic declaration, claiming to have received a divine revelation concerning the death of a high-ranking Nigerian politician.

Addressing his congregation, the clergyman shared that he was initially hesitant to bring the vision to light due to the heavy nature of the message, but ultimately felt compelled to speak out.

What Apostle Selman Said

Detailing the vision, Selman stated that he witnessed the passing of a prominent political figure alongside scenes of people gathering for the burial.

“I’m not a prophet of doom and I wish I didn’t have to say this but I’m seeing a high-ranking politician in this nation. His time is up. I’m seeing him going. I’m seeing people gather to bury the person,” the cleric shared.

Emphasizing that his intention was not to cause panic or celebrate tragedy, Selman explained that the public disclosure was meant to prepare the politician’s family and prompt prayer for comfort.

“The reason why we announce this is not because we rejoice over whatever it is that is happening. It’s so that God will comfort the family, one, and then prepare the heart. But there’s nothing that can be done. It’s time. It’s over. I don’t prophesy to impress. I don’t have that time for all those games. But the Lord has impressed on my spirit, and it will not let me rest,” he added.

Prophetic declarations involving national figures frequently spark intense reactions and debate across social media and political circles in Nigeria.
