Popular Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, professionally known as Poco Lee, has spoken out for the first time following his release on bail in the United Kingdom over an alleged sexual offence case.
The allegations stem from Poco Lee’s recent trip to the UK, where he performed at the *Davido and Friends* concert held at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London on August 14. Following his arrest, the Snaresbrook Crown Court set September 15 for his plea and trial preparation hearing.
In a video call with social commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM), the high-profile dancer maintained his innocence, emphasizing that his conscience remains clear despite the ordeal.
"If I was inside there and I did what I was accused of, I would have felt I was paying for my sins," Poco Lee stated. "But since I knew I didn't do what I was accused of, my mind is pure."
Rather than dwelling on his detention, Poco Lee revealed that his primary concern was the well-being of his team and how his absence disrupted their daily operations and business commitments.
"I was just being myself. God sees my heart. My only worries were about my people. Jago could not do anything business-wise, and I didn't want to stress anyone," he added.
The entertainer also expressed deep gratitude toward friends and industry peers who rallied around him during the crisis, specifically acknowledging music star Burna Boy and socialite Rahman Jago.
Sharing the footage of their conversation on social media, VeryDarkMan commended both Burna Boy and Rahman Jago for standing by the dancer during the difficult period, writing:
> "I just got off a video call with @rahman_jago_ and @poco_lee... THERE IS A REASON WHY I BRAG WITH INTEGRITY, I AM NOBODY'S mate, WHEN I talk take it to the bank."
As the court date approaches, fans and industry colleagues continue to closely monitor the legal developments in London.
