The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, are celebrating 59 years of marriage.

In a joint social media statement released on September 8, Pastor Adeboye expressed deep gratitude to God for sustaining their union through various phases of life, reflecting on their long journey together.

"Today, we look back with grateful hearts as we celebrate 59 years of marriage," Adeboye wrote. "It feels like yesterday that we began this journey together. Through the years, we have experienced seasons of joy, challenges, growth, answered prayers and countless reasons to give God thanks."

The cleric shared key insights on marital longevity, emphasizing that successful unions require daily intentional commitment, grace, and shared faith. He noted that marriage involves continuously choosing one's spouse, allowing space for personal growth, demonstrating patience, practicing forgiveness, and maintaining a shared prayer life.

"Above all, we are grateful that God has been at the centre of our home," he added. "Every step of the way, He has remained faithful."

The couple concluded their message by extending appreciation to church members, well-wishers, and supporters worldwide who have offered prayers and support for their family over nearly six decades of marriage and ministry.
