From Police Cell to Wedding Bells: TikTok Stars Peller and Jarvis Announce Official Wedding Date!
The Nigerian TikTok community is buzzing with excitement as content creation power-couple Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja (Peller) and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata (Jarvis) have officially announced the date for their upcoming white wedding!
After months of hinting at their future together, the duo took to their verified social media pages to reveal that their big day is set for August 1, 2026.
The Journey to "I Do"
This announcement comes on the heels of major traditional and legal milestones the couple crossed earlier this year:
-
The Traditional Introduction: In June, Peller travelled to Benin City, Edo State, to formally meet Jarvis’ family, where he successfully fulfilled traditional marriage rites and paid the bride price.
-
The Court Wedding: Shortly after, the lovebirds shared highlights from their civil ceremony, officially kicking off the legal process of formalizing their union.
Unsurprisingly, their comment sections have been flooded with congratulations from fans, top celebrities, and fellow content creators cheering them on.
From the Cell to the Altar: Peller Recounts 4 Days in Police Custody
While Peller has plenty to celebrate right now, it hasn’t been all smooth sailing. The TikToker also opened up about a recent, highly publicized brush with the law that landed him in police custody for nearly four days.
Peller was arrested in the Lekki area of Lagos after a confrontation with police officers regarding a tinted vehicle driving without a number plate. Alongside his associate, Bello Oladipo, Peller was arraigned before a Lagos Magistrate’s Court on charges of obstructing police officers during an operation. The duo was eventually granted bail set at β¦500,000.
"I Didn't Bathe or Eat"
Following his release, Peller took to his Snapchat account to detail the grueling experience, admitting that the reality of detention hit him hard.
"I have never experienced such an incident in my life," Peller shared, revealing to his followers that he neither ate any food nor took a bath throughout his four-day stint in the cell.
Thankfully, that dramatic chapter is now behind him, and Peller is shifting his full focus from courtrooms to wedding rings.
